ATCP Physical Engineering

The ATCP Physical Engineering provides specific tools for testing and quality control of ultrasonic horns and acoustic stacks. These products are the ultrasonic frequency meter SonicSniffer and the horn and transducer analyzer TRZ.

Frequency Meter SonicSniffer
The SonicSniffer is a pocket-size frequency meter for preventive maintenance of power ultrasonic equipments (mainly ultrasonic welding machines). The SonicSniffer determines the work frequency analyzing the ultrasound emitted by the equipment during operation. Frequency deviations indicate wear on the interfaces, tight loss or more serious problems such as cracks or deformation. When detected early, some of these problems can be solved by simple and cheap procedures avoiding more serious damages.

TRZ Horn Analyzer
The TRZ Horn Analyzer is a user friendly instrument dedicated to tuning, frequency analysis and testing of power ultrasonic transducers, horns (sonotrodes) and correlated devices. The TRZ Horn Analyzer determines the operation frequency of the item under test and the correspondent electrical impedance. With this information, the user can manufacture and perform preventive and corrective maintenance ultrasonic parts.
