Hi Chris,
I am using Mozilla 1.7.2. on w2k.
The sonotrode calculator doesn't seem to work properly with my mozilla.
When I click on a top level menu (for example Material) I can see the menu, but If I try to click on a sub-menu (for example MaterialAluminium) nothing happens (the sub-menu doesn't appear).
Could you try to solve this problem?
Ciao Valerio.
Re: Sonotrode calculator & Mozilla
Thanks Valerio,
Now I look again I see the same problem with Firefox 0.9 (uses the same Gecko/20040804 engine as Mozilla 1.7.2) - I must have broken it somewhere in the process of getting IE5 compatibility... probably a "quirks mode" problem mixing new CSS with an old doctype.
I really need to move the whole site to a modern standard, but that may take me a while. Meanwhile you could try Mozilla 1.7.3 which uses Gecko/20040913 so should work like Firefox 1.0PR - I'm downloading 1.7.3 now; will let you know if it works.
Regards
Chris
Re: Sonotrode calculator & Mozilla
Thanks Chris,
I wait your news, if it solves the problem I'll upgrade to mozilla 1.7.3.
I downloaded it but I have not installed it yet.
Ciao Valerio.
Re: Sonotrode calculator & Mozilla
Hmm, no - that didn't work. 1.7.3 behaves just the same, so don't upgrade on my account!
I'll try to sort it out and let you know.
Chris
Re: Sonotrode calculator & Mozilla
Valerio,
Pls try again now - it's working for me in Firefox 0.9.1 and Mozilla 1.6 and 1.7.3 (so probably also 1.7.2!)
Regards
Chris

Re: Sonotrode calculator & Mozilla
Valerio,
You're welcome, and thanks for telling me about the problem. But I guess before it's much use as a teaching aid I'll need to put up the formulae...

Chris
